Job Summary
A rapidly expanding RIA (Registered Investment Advisory) Firm located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with over $2.6 billion AUM has an immediate need for a full time, nonexempt Junior Trading Operations Specialist to assist in the Trading Operations area of the company.
The successful candidate should possess strong organizational and time management skills, must have a high degree of "attention to detail” and be able to perform well under pressure.
This is an in-office position (Fort Lauderdale 33309).

Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform daily input of trades (stocks, bonds, ETF, Mutual Funds, etc.), liquidations, cash blocks, and any other account action to allocate funds to the requested portfolio model for new clients.
- Review and process client documents and trade instructions for retail investors.
- Interface with Operations Dept to ensure proper paperwork and clear instructions for accurate trade entry are available.
- Work on trade blotters, compliance reporting, and any other internal reporting requirements
- Communicate & and support our Financial Advisors across the country.
- Deliver reports and updates requested by the COO, CIO, CCO, CEO, or Representative.

Requirements:Education, Skills and Attributes
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Economics, or Business.
- Will consider some college with experience with trading securities on an Institutional Platform, such as Fidelity, Charles Schwab or any other financial institution is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
- Prior experience with 3rd party trading software RedBlack is a plus.
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; a high degree of accuracy is required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to learn and adapt to change.
- Desire/ability to work successfully in a small team environment.
- Able to work for any US employer without sponsorship.
- Must have reliable transportation.
