Introduction
System Administrators are the gatekeepers to the many systems that run our company and our clients. As a System Admin with IBM, you will have the opportunity to provide high-value IT services and leverage our leading-edge technology portfolio in our global network. Your work has a direct impact on the day-to-day productivity of our business by ensuring integrity of, and access to, our most important resource: data.
Your Role and Responsibilities
MyNavy Human Resources (HR) Information Technology Solutions (PMW 240) is the primary Information Technology (IT) acquisition agent for non-tactical business operations addressing MyNavy HR capability gaps in support of the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) N1. The Navy ADE DOS contract is a 5-year agreement to transform MyNavy HR into modern, cost-effective HR capability that fully integrates business processes, tools, and authoritative data to manage the military workforce efficiently and effectively.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability in overseeing/prioritizing work requests. Excellent written and oral communication skills. 3-5 years’ experience with the following: • Windows Administration • Knowledge of networking protocols and network administration • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Troubleshooting problem issues • Installing patches and pushing software
  • United States - DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Prior Navy ADE experience

The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
