Our group of DevOps professionals is looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer with a strong foundation in C++ and a keen interest in practicing and developing skills in DevOps. This role is designed for a dynamic individual ready to contribute to our engineering projects while growing as a DevOps professional. You'll collaborate with cross functional teams to develop high quality software solutions, streamline development processes, and enhance our infrastructure. The Junior Software Engineer will actively contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, emphasizing coding, bug fixing, and debugging in C++ environment. The role also extends to building and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, key for automated testing and deployment processes. Contributing to the documentation of our software systems is also a vital part of our role. Stay at the forefront of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in C++ development and DevOps as you continue to grow in your role. Required Qualifications:
- BS computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related field
- Proficiency in C++ programming
- A strong desire to learn and grow in DevOps practices
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal & written, for seamless collaboration with various teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash) for automation and task execution
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Podman)
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
