As a Junior Software Engineer - BE at Actabl, you will be an integral part of our dynamic and innovative development team. You will work closely with experienced engineers, who you will be learning from, and contribute to the design, development and maintenance of our software solutions for hospitality. 1. Coding and Development:
   1. Write clean, efficient and maintainable code in collaboration with the development team.
   2. Implement software solutions based on the given technical specifications and product requirements for each task.
2. Problem Solving:
   1. Analyze and troubleshoot software issues, identify and implement effective solutions.
   2. Collaborate with team members to solve technical challenges and optimize software performance.
3. Testing
   1. Develop and run unit tests to ensure the reliability of the code.
   2. Collaborate with the QA team to address and resolve software defects.
4. Learning and collaboration
   1. Actively participates in team meetings and contributes to technical discussions.
   2. Embrace a culture of continuous learning, staying up to date with industry trends and new technologies.
5. Documentation
   1. Create and maintain technical documentation to ease knowledge transfer.

Must Have

• Strong understanding of fundamental programming concepts and principles.
• Knowledge on the following programming languages: SQL, .NET, Java, or similar.
• Familiarity with software development tools and version control systems (i.e.: Git)
• Good problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Coding experience in .NET / C#.
• Experience with databases and MS SQL queries and procedures.
• Understanding of the Agile and Scrum software development methodologies.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
