Our client in the Willoughby OH area is seeking a Safety and Contractor Compliance Coordinator
Duties:
- Ensure company is compliant in safety rating with our customers and in their specific systems and/or portals. (Ex: ISNetworld, Avetta, or any customer specified contractor portal)
- Proactively follow up on any issues related to safety grade.
- Log and maintain all customer specific safety, certifications, and/or PPE requirements that are needed to be able to work on-site at our customer"s facilities
- Maintain and/or develop company standards for PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) that are commonly required across the customer base.
- Administer and maintain the company"s Health and Safety policy
- Develop and maintain onboarding safety training (LOTO, BBP, OSHA10, NFPA70E?)
- Reviews current safety training and recommends revisions, improvements, and updates
- Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics
- Building safety with safety data sheets, fire safety (proper fire extinguishers and placement, communication on location, emergency exits)
- Log and maintain the employee training expiration dates, along with contractor badges.
- Notifies the company on updates on OSHA requirements or guidelines are applicable.
- Maintain relationships with the onsite customer safety officer to get updates that apply.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a safety or compliance role in an industrial work environment.
- 1-3 years" experience in a safety or compliance role preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with public speaking ability a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to conduct training.
- Required to travel (up to 15%)
