Job Description
The Junior Project Management Specialist will assist the Talent Insights and Analytics (TIA) team, Whole Foods Market's internal People Analytics team, with various activities including Project Management support (defining, planning, and managing a variety of HR programs, determining resources needs and timeline); data gathering and analysis; maintaining Team Member listening dashboards; drafting communications, presentations, and other supporting documents; and other assigned duties. The TIA Junior Project Management Specialist will play a key role in launching our annual Team Member engagement survey and weekly pulse surveys as part of our integrated continuous listening program. They will work directly with our team, our survey vendor, and leaders in change management, communications, and other areas. They will develop knowledge and skills related to the application of People Analytics in Human Resources and business contexts.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform administrative duties, such as scheduling meetings, drafting communications, proofing presentations, tracking project tasks and deadlines, and connecting with key stakeholders.
  • Attend meetings, presentations, and training to ensure exposure to the full range of TIA functions and understanding of their key interdependencies.
  • Ensure project scope, planning, and implementation align with client expectations and business needs; ensure alignment between multiple projects.
  • Leverage technical and team support resources to achieve project objectives on time, within scope and budget.
  • Coordinate project meetings, capture notes and action items for follow up on key deliverables by respective owners.
  • Receive specific and structured assignments, learning to perform entry-level tasks, and gaining exposure to advanced tasks; typical assignments may include:

  • Leveraging Team Member data from Workday (Whole Foods Market's HRIS) to analyze relationships with Team Member sentiment and key performance indicators (KPIs),
  • Assisting with the development of documents and presentations based on data and other analyses,
  • Providing logistical support for the annual Team Member engagement survey and/or weekly pulse surveys.

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business analytics, statistics, IO Psychology, or related field and 0-2 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience with standard office software and applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) required.
  • Experience cleaning and analyzing data from large data sets preferred.
  • Experience conducting statistical analyses with the statistical software R preferred.
  • Experience creating surveys and using survey tools, such as Qualtrics, preferred.
