Junior Product Manager
Job Purpose
What does a successful Junior Product Manager do at Fiserv?
You will be responsible for understanding our business needs and working with the team to deliver. This is an entry level position onto the product team.
What you will do:
- Work with Product Managers to understand and document product functionality for client facing content.
- Research the market and competition to identify opportunities.
- Work with marketing, legal, sales and PR teams.
- Own and create product documentation & sales enablement content.
- Own and create technical documentation.
- Identify what a client's need is and document them for internal and external publication.
- Manage and track feature readiness for documentation publication.
- Coordinate documentation process with Dev Portal Team.
- Coordinate internal and external product communication and information across product line and partner organizations.
- Establish and maintain awareness and understanding of customer and market needs.
- Manage issues throughout the product documentation process including problem identification, root cause analysis, and partner communication.
- Consumer interface in the education and enrollment of consumers into the new product programs.
- Frequent contact with internal and external customers.
What you will need to have:
- High School graduate/GED
- Minimum 3 years' experience in tech writing, documentation or education
- Communicate technical concepts and requirements clearly to both IT and business resources.
- Excellent communication and self-organizing skills
- Travel required: Percentage/frequency of travel - 10-25%
What will be good to have:
- Bachelor's degree
- In-depth knowledge of card brand regulations, including PCI.
- 2 years' payments related experience
- Experience as a SaFe Agilist
- Knowledge of APIs and modern web technologies
- Experience with coding languages like JSON, PHP, HTML, etc
