Lewistown Public Schools is seeking a an energetic, passionate Special Education Teacher that strives to impact students lives' in a positive manner and join a very professional teaching team for the 2023-24 school year. The position at our Pre-K program at Garfield Elementary and the Central Montana Head Start. We are seeking a Montana licensed professional or someone able to demonstrate the ability to obtain a Montana appropriately endorsed certificate. The qualified candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing instructional strategies that reach the whole child using differentiated instruction and personalized learning, student evaluation, and supervision of paraprofessionals under their supervision. The qualified candidate will need to be a cooperative team member of the community and school as we work together to promote Lewistown Public Schools and its vision of educating our youth.
Lewistown is located in Central Montana surrounded by the Snowy Mountains, Judith Mountains, North & South Moccasin Mountains, Little Belt Mountains and the Highwood Mountains and has a population of approximately 5800 residents Lewistown Public Schools has consistently tested above the National and State Average and boasts an average daily attendance rate of over 94%. Lewistown is located a 104 miles east of Great Falls and 124 miles west of Billings.
