Radey Law Firm based in Tallahassee, Florida is seeking a dedicated, full-time Junior Paralegal to join our team.
The Junior Paralegal provides valuable service to the Senior Paralegal and Attorney positions, while still assisting with front-line contact for our clients, vendors, and other contacts. The Junior Paralegal must assist in the organized administration and resolution of litigation matters, while providing clerical support.
Skills/Abilities
- Routinely proofread and electronically file pleadings, motions and other litigation documents with state court, federal court, and DOAH
- Assist Senior Paralegals with document productions, subpoena responses and other job duties
- Assist Attorneys and Senior Paralegals in preparation for depositions, hearings, or trials by compiling notebooks or other required materials
- Provide clerical support to Attorney positions
- Calendar deadlines and assist Attorneys in meeting litigation obligations and scheduling in a timely and efficient fashion
- Demonstrate understanding and application of different billing rules/guidelines of clients/carriers and assist Attorneys in managing cases within client’s stated guidelines or budgets
- Perform other clerical functions like handle incoming calls from clients, vendors, and other contacts
- Regular and reliable attendance at office (this is not a remote position)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details
- Draft routine correspondence
Knowledge:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint preferred
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat preferred
- Knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure
- Knowledge of Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
Education/Experience
- AS degree in Paralegal Studies/Certificate in Paralegal Studies
- Experience working in a law firm environment preferred, but not required
Radey Law Firm provides an area-leading compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for a bonus based on production.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
