Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Junior Networking Technician to play a crucial role in the data cable certification process for a large warehouse with over 8000 cables. As a Junior Networking Technician, you will be responsible for the preparation and verification of data cables, ensuring they are ready for the certification process led by the senior technician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation: Prepare data cables for certification by organizing, labeling, and ensuring they meet initial quality standards.
- Verification: Use testing equipment to verify the integrity and connectivity of data cables before they undergo the formal certification process.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of Cable Verification results, highlighting any issues or discrepancies for further review.
- Assistance: Collaborate with the senior technician in troubleshooting and resolving any problems identified during the Cable Verification process.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to streamline the cable certification workflow and maintain a well-organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience in networking or Cable Verification.
- Basic understanding of cable testing equipment and procedures.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
