About Us:
JetPens is a growing online retailer, specializing in premium writing instruments and office supplies. We have been featured in Wired, New York Times, and CNBC. We are looking for a Content Creator to support our marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Ideate and write video scripts for short- and long-form content for JetPens YouTube channel.
- Research best practices for short form content on social media channels including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.
- Develop and implement JetPens branding for short-form content in the above channels.
- Come up with fresh and interesting ideas based on current trends.
- Plan and manage JetPens content calendar, paying attention to relevant events and trends.
Requirements:
- Exceptional copywriting, social media, and video production skills.
- Able to execute ideas quickly and have a results-driven and efficient workflow.
- Excellent communication skills and reliable team player.
- Capable of managing multiple competing priorities.
- Strong organizational and time management ability.
- Passion for marketing communications.
- Bachelor's degree in a marketing- or communications-related field.
- This is an on-site full-time only position. We are located in San Jose, CA.
Bonus Points:
- Experience ideating and scripting short- and long-form video content in a professional setting.
- Good visual design skills and sensibilities.
- Passion for art materials and office supplies.
- Experience with Google Workspace applications.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere or Premiere Rush.
Hours & Pay
- Salary range: $22-$29 / hour.
- Business hours are 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
