Role Summary
This position serves as a junior to the IT/OT Engineer to further Industry of the Future initiatives. This will require learning progressive technologies and acting as a liason between groups during project implementation. Help bring various division teams together in implementation of sustainable and scalable smart factory operations in industry-leading network technology.
Key Responsibilities

1. Support the Industry 4.0 solutions implementation for LMV Automotive Systems driving standardization in line with the corporate platform.
2. Participate in meetings to bring together shop floor and manufacturing with IT during implementation.
3. Support long-term and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines for projects in Industry 4.0 manufacturing transformations.
4. Assist in analyzing the scope of work and assisting in the development of manpower plan requirements to complete projects within time constraints defined in the project timeline.
5. Making suggestions and recommendations to the department when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
6. Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
7. Works with the IT/OT Engineer to create project timelines for design tasks from critical project milestones.
8. Aid in leading cross-functional teams.
9. Stay connected with the industry to ensure that the best in class industry technology is reflected in platform and product strategic roadmaps.
10. Follows and supports LMV Automotive Systems' and Magna's operating principles, including:

Key Qualifications/Requirements

Education and/or Experience:
• Experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing environment, programming languages and database knowledge.
• Strong aptitude for acquiring new skills.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Must have a positive attitude and be able to motivate others.
• Must have a great set of analytical skills that allow to solve problems in an efficient way.
• Can delegate and manage multiple projects at any given time.
• Must have good organizational skills to attend to multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Ability to prepare, read, write and interpret reports, instructions and procedures.
• Able to clearly and effectively respond to questions from management and customers.
• Must have computer skills (including M.S. Project, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to effectively and appropriately present information and respond to questions for various groups.
• Demonstrate a growth mindset. Possess curiosity and sees failure as a learning opportunity
Additional Information
Physical Demands:
• Involves some physical activity, which generally requires occasionally lifting 50 lbs.
Environmental Conditions:
• General office environment exposure to factory environment.
Environmental, Health & Safety:
• Support and comply with all IATF16949 & ISO14001 procedures and work instructions.
• Support a safe and healthful work environment that is free of recognized hazards for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Cooperate with all local, state, and federal agencies, such as OSHA or the EPA, in the event of an inspection.
• Know and follow all applicable EH&S Policies and Procedures.
