Junior Graphic Designer

Job Overview: As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will combine your passion for creating visually appealing and effective designs that align with our brand guidelines with a strong understanding of technical concepts. This role requires a unique blend of creativity, technical acumen, and attention to detail. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Visualization: Create visually appealing graphics and illustrations to communicate complex technical concepts, processes, and data.
• Design Execution: Assist in the creation of a wide range of design materials, including but not limited to digital and print collateral, social media graphics, presentations, templates, and other marketing materials.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand project requirements and contribute creative ideas. Collaborate on projects from concept to completion. 
• Graphic Design: Design technical diagrams, schematics, infographics, and other visual assets for technical documentation, presentations, and marketing materials. 
• Administrative: Performs daily administrative functions to help support design execution including but not limited to edits, uploads, archives, producing, selecting color grades, design treatment, color palette, typography and motion decisions for content and campaign work. Supports Content Marketing Specialist with various tasks. 
• Brand Consistency: Ensure that all graphics adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across various platforms.
• Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project deadlines.
• Feedback Incorporation: Actively participate in design reviews and be open to feedback. Incorporate feedback into design revisions to enhance the quality of the final output.
• Learning and Development: Stay updated on design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies in technical graphic design. Take initiative in learning and growing as a designer

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to translate them into visually compelling graphics.
• Ability to take creative direction
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with other teams.
• High attention to detail and a passion for creating compelling, visually stunning graphics
• Proficient with design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), to create high-quality technical graphics.

Education and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Technical Illustration, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in graphic design or related field preferred
• Proven experience of design principles, layout, and typography.
• Ecommerce experience is a preferred

Physical Requirements

•  Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
•  Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
