Major purpose:
Looking for a self-driven Front End Developer for an exciting, new part-time role on the Content Marketing Team for a Fortune 500 Company.
This opportunity is for UP TO 20 hours a week.
A great opportunity for entry-level developers! This position will be purely production and will work within templates for maintaining site pages, creating email modules, and utilizing a CMS to publish site content.
Applicants must have excellent project management and communication skills with the ability to work on a large volume of different projects on varying deadlines while maintaining positive working relationships. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively translate content marketing goals into rich customer experiences that drive conversion and engagement. In addition to having strong development skills, having experience working within a marketing department and/or possess a solid understanding of content marketing practices is a must.
Major responsibilities and duties:
Hand-code HTML/CSS in Dreamweaver or equivalent
Basic Photoshop / Image editing skills
Create/Publish site pages using a CMS like WordPress (Hybris experience a plus)
Familiar with responsive development
Troubleshoot and test to ensure accuracy across browsers and applications
Respond to shifting workloads and multiple priorities
Adhere to schedules and maintain quality work
Must be able to reliably work remotely in a "self managed" atmosphere
Competencies
Deadline, process-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Multi-channel content marketing experience with strong process and project management skills
Experience with digital development with strong attention to detail and a commitment to high quality output
Strong people skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
Remain current on development industry best practices, tools, news, trends and the latest online strategies
Requirements:
1-2 years professional experience
BA/BS/BFA required in web developer-related fields
Technical
Comprehensive developer/production/editing skills for multi-channel direct response marketing
Functional knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc.)
Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, CMS, email development
Understanding of business-to-business marketing methods and metrics
Experience in content management tools, a plus
Thorough understanding of responsive email development and industry standard
Good understanding of mobile environment is a plus (not mobile app)
