Junior Estimator

Seeking a talented Junior Estimator with 2-4 years of experience in estimating interior fit outs and ground-up construction projects. A dedicated team of construction professionals with diverse skills and experience in concrete, masonry, plastering, drywall and acoustic. They offer clients a multi-trade package of services consisting of interior renovation, retrofitting, new building core and shell work, healthcare work, hospitality and exterior site work. Providing their clients with great flexibility by performing work in-house with a trade union workforce in excess of 500 people. The company quickly grew adding a masonry and fireproofing division, a drywall and carpentry division, and finally a general contracting division. Working seamlessly together, these branches of the company have successfully put in place nearly $1 billion dollars worth of work. 

Qualification

• 2-4 years of experience performing quantity takeoffs of construction projects and interior fit-outs, as well as bidding process. Experience within the concrete sector a plus.
• Hybrid work schedule available
• Familiaruty and experience using any of the following systems: BlueBeam, ProCore, Onscreen TakeOff, PlanSwift
• High organizational and multi-tasking skills, as well as strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and oral communication and interpersonal skills in order to successfully work with clients, subcontractors, and management team
• A bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Science, or Construction Management, or in other related discipline, or related experience.
