Network Connex, through our operating companies, Advantage Engineers, CCSI Networks, Fairhaven, National Technologies and Verticom, provides network design and implementation services for some of the world’s most sophisticated networking and data infrastructure companies. Our clients include wireless service providers, network service providers, cable MSO’s, data center operators, hyperscale cloud companies, and Fortune 500 enterprises.
TheJunior Electrical Engineerwill beResponsible for supporting all aspects of the site design process in relation to electrical, grounding and backup power design. Communicate project progress and forecasts with the Lead Engineer/PM.
Specific Duties:
- Act as the primary engineering point of contact for all electrical topics
- Attend site visits and perform structural mappings.
- Interact with clients to resolve engineering and site design issues.
- Work with Lead Engineer to maintain production pace.
- Final Review for electrical design documents. (CD, one line diagrams, etc.)
- Support Lead Engineer with the development and mentoring of engineers.
- Interact with Lead Engineer to work with clients to resolve engineering and site design issues.
- Collaborate with the Lead Engineer and the Director of Engineering to maintain the QA/QC process.
- Display professionalism within the office.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Engineer-In-Training Certification required.
- Experience in wireless site design and development preferred.
- Experience on multi-site projects.
- Experience managing projects and employees
- Knowledge of national and local building codes.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills required.
- At least 4 years of Electrical Engineering experience.
