SalaryJunior Custodian- District Wide – Swampscott Public Schools
Job description includes but is not limited to:
- Clean the route assigned to you by the Senior Custodian and perform any other duties deemed necessary.
- Perform major cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, wet-mopping, sweeping, dusting, and emptying trash, pencil sharpeners, cleaning chalkboards/dry erase boards and disinfecting drinking fountains.
- Clean restrooms, including floors and all fixtures (i.e.: urinals, toilets, sinks, mirrors, partitions, and counters). Ensure restrooms are clean and disinfected.
- Wash windows and sills (door glass).
- Ensure that all doors and windows are appropriately locked.
- Light Maintenance.
- Snow removal during winter months.
- Must be able to walk up and down stairs, as well as regular bending and standing as needed in a daily shift.
- Must have basic computer knowledge
- Must be willing to interact with and assist people in the building
Hours are variable depending on need @ 8 Hours per day minimum.
Pay will depend on union scale.
