Job Description
CSInnovations is looking for a Junior Continuous Monitoring Consultant to join our team in support of a cyber security Continuous Monitoring and High Value Asset assessment program with our federal client. This position is Hybrid remote, requiring 3 days/week onsite at our office located in Hyattsville, MD. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting our client's efforts to improve their Continuous Monitoring program plan and support for High Value Asset assessments.
Responsibilities Include:
- Developing standard operating procedures (SOP) and training materials.
- Taking meeting notes.
- Developing and presenting PowerPoint briefings.
- Updating training materials using the Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Providing information security research.
- Creating process flow diagrams.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- US Citizenship is required.
- Must be able to obtain an agency-specific Public Trust clearance prior to starting.
- Must reside within a commutable distance to our office in Hyattsville, MD in order to work a hybrid onsite schedule.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cyber Security, or a related field is required.
- 1-2+ years of professional experience in a customer-facing IT position.
- IT security knowledge.
- Experience creating presentations in PowerPoint.
- Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures to technical assignments.
- Must be delivery-minded with ability to meet milestones, deadlines, and provide progress updates to leadership.
- Knowledge of NIST Publications (specifically NIST SP 800-53, SP 800-37, SP 800-137 and related updates of NIST publications), OMB, Risk Management Framework (RMF), FISMA, and the Cyber Security Framework.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Certification in Cyber Security from (ISC)2, ISA, PMI, CompTIA, or SANS.
- Professional experience in a Cyber Security role.
- Experience with Continuous Monitoring tools.
- security control assessment experience.
- Experience vulnerability scanning tools.
