About the Role:
Our Jr Civil Engineer will be involved with projects requiring a wide range of design disciplines and elements of Civil Engineering with. The Civil Engineer will design and assist in the review of projects at various locations throughout the United States.
Primary Duties:
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Evaluate operations and processes
- Suggest process and technical design changes to improve performance and efficiency
- Implement improvements to designs and processes
- Monitor project progress, compliance with design specifications and safety standards
- Maintain detailed documentation of all site engineering activities
- Collaborate with management to align activities with desired business outcomes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or close to completion of such degree (with 2.9 minimum GPA)
- 0-5 years of Engineering experience
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
- Candidate will need to live a commutable distance from our Irvine, CA office location - hybrid role
- AutoCAD and/or Microstation Experience
- EIT Certification
- Work experience, including highway improvement/traffic design and traffic signal operations
