Today, we are 100% employee owned with 190 employee-owners across 4 offices in southern California, and our services have expanded to include Survey and Mapping, Stormwater Management and Water Quality, and Geospatial Technology.
Our San Diego office is seeking Entry Level and Junior Level Civil Engineers ranging from 0 to 3+ years of experience. We're looking for candidates who are: eager and motivated to become technically strong Civil Engineers, and curious about the Land Development process from A to Z. We believe in allowing our employees to be involved in all phases of the Land Development process, from due diligence through construction hand off.
Associate Civil Engineers (Entry Level) will:
- Under general direction, assist with project coordination efforts between subconsultants and agency staff.
- Prepare engineering drawings/maps to company standards.
- Design basic construction documents and prepare special exhibits and constraint maps reflecting field data and engineering research.
- Independently ensure a clear and attractive set of engineering documents.
Civil Engineer I (Junior Level) will:
- Design and prepare plans for grading, wet utilities, street improvements, offsite improvements etc.
- Perform design tasks, engineering calculations, solve design problems, and develop knowledge of general design standards and agency requirements for plan preparation.
