Junior Records Management Specialist
Relevant experience in performing program management and federal Records Management support services
- 3 years of experience with a minimum 1 year of experience in Records Disposition and Records Management Regulations & Experience with NARA)
- Must have Deployed hybrid Microsoft 365 and its core Office Products, Exchange, SharePoint & Teams as well implemented data loss prevention policy, data lifecycle and data classification using Purview in Office 365.
- Ability to Configure retention and sensitivity labels and policies in Microsoft O365 Purview
- General Record Schedule, NARA policies and guidance, disposition instructions, record retention holds, records scheduling
- United State Codes (USC) related to Records Management
- USG record digitization process requirements (36 CFR 1236 subpart B).
- The applicant must be able to quickly adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast- paced environment.
- Must know how to request information from NARA, Federal Record Centers, and 3rd party record storage facilities
- Must know how to enter and submit draft record schedules and transfer requests in NARA Electronic Records Archives (ERA) information system
- Must know how to catalog records for transfers
- Must know how to request records from federal records centers for reference requests
