Job Description
BryceTech is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Jr. Contracts Administrator to join our contracts team and support contract and subcontract administration. The ideal candidate can work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. The individual will need experience in federal government and commercial contracting. The successful candidate is extremely organized, responsive, and service-oriented, thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-based environment.
  • Support the administration function for contract management and subcontract management of various types and complexity to include maintaining accurate contract records in BryceTech's contract management database
  • Assist contract staff with review of terms and conditions for new contract awards and modifications (prime contracts, subcontracts (BryceTech could be either prime or subcontractor) and commercial or business-to-business agreements)
  • Become proficient in the review and negotiation of non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements
  • Collaborate with program managers to review resumes and recommend appropriate labor categories to ensure staff meet the labor category qualifications
  • Use knowledge of government and commercial contracting and procurement regulations to ensure the flow down of appropriate clauses and compliance with contract specifications and applicable laws in subcontracts
  • Assist with negotiation and maintenance of subcontracts to include statement of work review, request for proposal/quote and issuing purchase orders to provide incremental funding
  • Proactive coordination with program managers on contractual obligations to ensure that programs are executing to contract requirements, managing scope, and mitigating risks throughout contract execution
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers
  • Collaborate effectively with various departments including subcontracts, accounting, operations, HR and business development to closely monitor contract compliance and provide proposal support
  • Support ad hoc projects, such as BryceTech's transition of contract files to SharePoint and research and implementation of transition to a new contract lifecycle management (CLM) software
  • Provide input for development/enhancement of procedures and automated tools to support the continuous improvement of the contracts management systems
  • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Acquisition and Contract Management, Legal Studies, or related discipline is required.
  • NCMA CPCM or CFCM certification is a plus
  • Minimum of one (1) year of contract management experience in government contracting in a contracting, finance, accounting, or procurement environment
  • Understanding of the FAR, DFAR, and relevant contract laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Office with an advanced understanding of MS Excel and Word
  • Working knowledge of multiple contract types (FFP, T&M, Cost Reimbursable, etc.)
  • Exceptional ability in prioritizing assignments, multi-tasking, and adjusting accordingly to meet internal and external client needs
  • Demonstrated analytical, attention to detail, organizational, time management, problem solving and verbal and written communication skills
  • Exhibit honesty, integrity, responsibility, commitment to excellence, customer focus, and ability to handle confidential matters and information professionally

Additional Information
Hybrid Role
Pay: $65,000 - $80,000
