Journeyperson Electrician

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial and residential buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout of electrical wiring and equipment
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and carpenters, to complete construction or renovation projects
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes and regulations

Experience:
- Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license or equivalent certification
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
- Knowledge of high voltage systems and equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, contractors, and other tradespeople

Note: Experience in maintenance person work or frame carpentry is a plus but not required for this position.
