We are seeking a Journeyman Welder to become an integral part of our team! The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms.
Responsibilities:
· Must be able to qualify in two gas shielded FCAW welding processes 71T-1 and 811N3 in the three positions.
· Knowledge of welding characteristics of metal.
· Skill in air arc metal cutting, oxyacetylene torch cutting, plasma arc metal cutting, GMAW, SMAW, FCAW.
· Apply welding methods with the use of SMAW, FCAW and GMAW.
· Pre-Fab free-hand TIG weld 1/16th inch stainless steel Schott tubes.
· Weld on carbon steel, stainless, aluminum, brass, flux-core, cast iron and galvanize.
· Stick and MIG welding process.
· Perform welding using MIG, stick, and flux-core welding procedures.
· Must be able to read blue print
· Must have Journey man License
Qualifications:
· Proficient in welding techniques such as TIG, MIG, and Stick welding
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
· Experience with welding materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel
· Knowledge of welding safety procedures and equipment maintenance
· Must comprehend written and verbal instructions (in English). Must be able to hear warning signals, read and comprehend safety
instructions, regulations, and warnings.
Physical Requirements
· Must be able to work at heights,
· Must be able to work in confined spaces
· Can carry 50 lbs.
· Stand for long periods of time
