Journeyman Plumber/Plumbing Apprentice

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems according to building codes and specifications
- Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building plans
- Use power tools and equipment to cut, bend, thread, and connect pipes
- Troubleshoot plumbing systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with clients to understand their plumbing needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work area

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Carpentry skills for framing and installing fixtures
- Experience with pipe threading and cutting
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths
- Familiarity with power tools used in plumbing installations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
