Journeyman Plumber

Description:

As a Journeyman Plumber you will be responsible for installing services, fixtures and equipment within tenant improvement or new construction commercial environments. The work schedule is Sunday to Thursday 9 pm to 6 am.

Responsibilities

• Install plumbing pipes such as: PVC, ABS, Cast Iron (no hub) and/or copper
• Install fixtures according to manufacture specifications and municipal codes
• Install commercial gas, electric and/or tankless water heaters
• Perform existing line locating and inspection of pipe and connections
• Perform manual labor to clean and prepare jobsites which includes but not limited to dig trenches, set braces to support excavations sides, erect scaffolding and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials
• Read and layout from blueprints, plans and isometric drawings
• Install service for grease traps, waste, sump pumps, sanitary waste, water systems and utilities within a commercial retail environments
• Must be able to work according to current OSHA safety guidelines and policies

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years’ recent experience as a commercial plumber
• Must be available to work nights
• Must have reliable transportation to various job sites within Southern California
• Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a commercial service company providing customer service throughout California and other states. Travel may be required.
