This position supports an exciting and rewarding contract with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) within Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Support TSA's system security program by proactively managing TSA Infrastructure systems security risks, vulnerabilities, & compliance with security configurations, guidance, & policies.
- Perform vulnerability management (e.g., scanning, patching) & DHS ISVM compliance, remediation, & reporting.
- Support TSA's FISMA compliance program in accordance with the DHS Information Security Performance Plan (currently republished annually). Examples of activities performed under this objective include:
- Providing the required data on a monthly basis for input to the monthly DHS FISMA scorecard.
- Performing POA&M analysis, management, compliance, and remediation.
- Performing vulnerability management (e.g. scanning, patching) and DHS Information Security Vulnerability Management (ISVM) compliance, remediation and reporting.
- Support TSA FISMA system ISSOs in all processes and activities for Security Authorization (SA) and Ongoing Authorization (OA) of TSA systems and Contractor subsystems in accordance with FISMA and OMB requirements.
- Create, track, modify, and perform remediation activities for POA&M items.
- Provide IA support in the development, implementation, and evaluation of information systems under purview.
- Advise senior management and customer on IA topics.
Required Qualifications:
- TSA/EOD Suitability
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of experience
