Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Residential Electrical Installation or Service experience
- State Journeyman License REQUIRED
- State Registration
- Knowledge of Electrical Equipment, Codes and Installations, Electrical Diagnostic and Components.
- Team Player, Organized, Reliable, Self-motivated
- Desire to learn new products and skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- There are several skill levels of Service Technicians. In order to graduate from one level to the next, Service Technicians must meet the qualifications of all previous skill levels. Please see the Technicians’ Skills & Qualifications Guide (included in Tech Skills Exam Kit) for details.
- Analyze, diagnose and resolve customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely, and accurate manner. Spot potential problems to prevent premature and unexpected breakdowns or callbacks.
- Practice good customer relation skills.
- Attend service-training classes to upgrade technical capabilities.
- Commit to involving customers in our Rescue Club programs.
- Fill-out all forms and paperwork in a neat, timely, complete, and accurate manner.
- Abide by the company dress code.
- Perform service calls and other assignments as instructed and do so in a courteous manner.
- Handle customer concerns, questions, or problems in an effective manner.
- Meet or exceed the company’s minimum standards with regard to Precision Tune‑up renewals, conversions, Rescue Club sales, accessory sales, and production of sales leads.
