DEPARTMENT: Maintenance & Operations
HOURS OF WORK: 4/10 shifts; Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday
LOCATION: 3640 East Tudor RoadUnder general supervision, perform the full range of journeyman level electrician duties in the installation, maintenance, and repair of wiring, equipment and appliances. This work excludes the installation of power transmission lines. Perform other related duties as assigned.High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, and five (5) years of journeyman level (electrician) experience which may include a combination of experience and completion of an apprenticeship or training program in the craft area sufficient to equal five (5) years' experience.
Must possess a valid State of Alaska driver's license at time of hire.
Must possess a valid State of Alaska Electrical Certificate of Fitness card.
Incumbents may be required to furnish hand tools common to the trade.

If selected for hire, appointment in this position will be conditional based upon the submission of a current copy of the applicant's Alaska driver's license and a current (dated within 30 days from date requested) copy of his/her Department of Motor Vehicle driving record, including a driving record from previous states if the Alaska driver's license was first issued within one year prior to application, documenting an acceptable driving history.
