Journeyman Electrician

Winters Electric, LLC has an immediate opening for a Journeyman Electrician. Winters Electric is a family-owned business who prides ourselves on providing excellent customer service and quality workmanship. Our portfolio is composed of both residential and commercial clients, with a healthy mix of service work and new construction projects. Our ideal candidate must be able to diagnose and repair electrical wiring problems in a variety of home and commercial buildings.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and identify electrical issues on-site that need replacement or repair
• Perform repair or replacement of wiring and/or components when necessary
• Troubleshoot and ensure that the electrical system is working properly and up to code
• Maintain and store tools and equipment properly

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Completion of an electrician program at a vocational school or an electrician apprenticeship
• CURRENT electrician license in Oregon or a reciprocal state: Montana, Arkansas, Idaho, Maine, Utah, Washington or Wyoming
• Proficient with standard industry tools, techniques, and language
• Be able to read blueprints and schematic drawings
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Must possess a clean driving record
• Must successfully pass a background check

Salary:

Non-Union position with competitive pay:

• Residential Wireman $36-40
• Commercial Wireman $38-42
• Service Electrician $40-46

Pay: $38.00 - $46.00 per hour
