Journeyman Plant Electrician (1673178) $38.12 per hour

Daily Workflow:

»Following safe work practices, plant policies and procedures

» Machine troubleshooting, preventive maintenance

»Installing new electrical equipment and wiring

»Repairing or replacing; motors, controls, VFDs and PLC components

We’re Seeking:

» Preferred knowledge in Allen Bradly PLC controls PLC programming skills

» Preferred experience with AutoCAD

» Preferred familiarity with PLC 5, ControlLogix, Flex Logix, and/or MicroLogix

» Preferred familiarity with plywood and/or veneer plant machinery and equipment

» Must have a valid Oregon Manufacturing Plant Journeyman license or higher, or the ability to obtain a license prior to date of hire.

» Must have an excellent work and safety record.

» Must be able to work at heights, and in hot/dusty environments.

» Must be able to work various shifts including days, swing and/or graveyard with required daily or weekly overtime as needed.

» Must be able to comprehend and enter detailed work orders into our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

» Must have experience in Field Prep which consists shop math, basic measuring tools, print reading, and conduit bending.

» Must have experience using electrical testing equipment such as oscilloscope, meters, and meggers.

» Must have experience identifying and controlling failed components such as switches, relays, frequency drives, motor starters.

» Must pass a drug screen & background check
