```Duties:``` - Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems - Install and troubleshoot electrical components, such as motors, transformers, generators, circuit breakers, and control panels - Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices - Inspect electrical systems and equipment for defects and potential hazards - Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem - Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure efficient completion of projects - Adhere to safety protocols and follow all safety regulations ```Requirements:``` - Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license or equivalent certification - Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician in industrial or commercial settings - Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams - Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications - Familiarity with logic controllers and power tools used in the trade - Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects within specified timelines - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and supervisors Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
