```Duties```
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Perform electrical work in a variety of settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout and installation of electrical systems
- Use a variety of power tools and hand tools to complete electrical installations and repairs
- Test electrical systems to ensure they are functioning properly and safely
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and HVAC technicians, to complete projects that require multiple disciplines
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations to ensure a safe working environment
```Qualifications```
- Valid journeyperson electrician license
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools commonly used in the electrical trade
- Knowledge of logic controllers, blueprint reading, and schematics
- Experience with electrical renovations and new construction projects
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and codes
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and other tradespeople
