SalaryOverview:
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings. This is a great opportunity for an experienced electrician looking to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Perform electrical installations for new construction projects
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentice electricians
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Journeyperson Electrician
- Proficiency in low voltage and high voltage electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
- Experience working on commercial projects is preferred
- Familiarity with logic controllers and building automation systems is a plus
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
Requirements:
- Nebraska state journeyman’s license
- City of omaha journeyman‘s license

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
