As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of students in our school community. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement intervention plans.
- Provide counseling and support services to students individually and in groups.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Support teachers in creating positive and effective classroom environments.
- Conduct research and data analysis to improve student outcomes and school programs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and development.
- Support crisis intervention and provide counseling during challenging situations.
Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Current Oregoncertification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check
- Knowledge of best practices in assessment, counseling, and intervention techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
- Empathy and compassion for students with diverse learning needs and backgrounds.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
As an employee of Sunbelt, you will be paid weekly and offered benefits if you are working a minimum of 30 hours per week.
