Position:Job Coach for Adults withI/DD
Status: Part Time
Compensation: $20.00-$25.00 an hour

Responsibilities include:
Assistance obtaining meaningful community employment
Building resumes, scheduling interviews with potential employers, mock interviews
Assist clients understand the functions and additional tasks of their jobs
Assist clients communicate with coworkers and management
Assist clients in advocating for their needs while at work
Maintain proper community supervision requirements
Transportation to and from work/interviews may be required for some clients
Job Requirements:
At least 18 years of age of older
High energy, positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and a passion for caring for others
Pass a Criminal and Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) background check
Valid Drivers License, reliable vehicle with proof of auto insurance. All Providers will need to provide transportation in your own vehicle to either Day Program or errands in the community (all time spent transporting clients is part of compensation)
Able to provide all elements of hands-on care per clients individual needs
Able to bend, sit, reach, and lift up to 30 pounds.
Transferring clients for supported employment is assessed on a case by case basis and is not required for all positions.
Able to resolve problems, handle conflict, and be mentally adaptable in dealing with multiple individuals with challenging behaviors
Emotional stability and personal stability are important attributes for Direct Care Providers
Able to complete daily notes and goals tracking through Spectrums provided online tools and monthly paperwork
