JOB TITLE (#24990): Radiology Technologist / Contract to Perm - Springfield, MA
Minimum of 2 years Radiology Technician experience
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Radiology Technologist to fill an opening with a surgery center located in Springfield, Massachusetts
Requirements of the Radiology Technologist:
- Must have an Associate Degree in Applied Science (A.S) or equivalent from a 2-year college and technical school; 6 months to 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have at least 2 years of Radiology Technician experience
- Must have AART and BLS Certification.
- Must be able to regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.

- The salary for this position is $45 / hr

Schedule of the Radiology Technologist:
- This is a Full-time position (Contract to Permanent Position)
- Contract Term: 13 weeks
- Weekly schedule: Monday to Friday
- No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call
Responsibilities of the Radiology Technologist:
- Responsible for performing fluoroscopy (C-arm) procedures in the operating room. Also responsible for participating in preoperative assessment of the patient, including C-arm procedures. Maintains and documents equipment are properly calibrated. Maintains log of all C-arm procedures.
- Participates as a team member in support of the total perioperative process.
- Considers patient rights in the performance of job duties and responsibilities.
- Contributes to the progress and development of the approved QAPI Program
- Supports risk management and participates in programs directed to patient and staff safety.
- Contributes to the quality improvement process; identifies roles and contributions upon request.
- Objectively evaluates suggestions, grievances, and processes to identify opportunities to improve performance and quality of care.
- Confirms that all persons in the room are properly shielded before activating C-arm.
- Follows manufacturer's specifications and OSHA guidelines when performing C-arm procedures
