Jewelry CAD / CAM Technician

Converge Custom is a full-service wholesale custom manufacturer with over 30 years in business. Our focus is on quality and service. We are seeking a CAD / CAM technician to fit into our team. Applicant needs to be familiar with jewelry design and 3D printing/manufacturing. The position will evaluate, tweak, and prepare models for printing using several type of printing technologies. Some CAD designing may be needed as well.

CAD/CAM Responsibilities:

• Check models for specs and tolerances
• Prepare models for prototyping
• Make minor adjustments to models
• Evaluating models for stone fitting
• Running CAM software, 3D printers, and CNC milling machines
• Some CAD model designing

CAD/CAM Qualifications:

• Previous experience in fine jewelry design with Rhino, Matrix, and/or Zbrush CAD software
• Knowledge/experience with fine jewelry fabrication
• Experience with rendering software
• Experience or knowledge with 3D printing and milling
• Superior communication skills, a “can do” attitude and the ability to work in a fast paced environment are essential.
• Prior experience is a plus but we are willing to train provided you have the proper background
• The ability to work independently with good organizational and communication skills
• Bench skills a big plus
• Positive attitude a must!

Hours of Work:

Typically Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM until 4:00 PM with lunch break! Hours may increase during peak seasons.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

• CAD/CAM: 1 year (Preferred)
• Jewelry: 1 year (Preferred)
