Position Overview:
Utilizes proper operation of jetting equipment. Understands the theory of jet cleaning vs. cable cleaning. Assist Jetting Technician with performing jetting jobs. Properly sets up job upon arrival. Can work from all access points, cleanouts, overheads, and roof vents. Has clear understanding of all safety procedures. Controls water damage and minimizes cleanup. Assists Jetting Technician in ensure all tools and equipment are in place on the company vehicle after each job is finished. Proficient in videotaping of sewer lines. Assist with removing objects stuck in lines by providing needed tools and equipment to the Jetting Technician. May be assigned to assist with high end commercial projects. Complies with check-in day dress code. Treats all customers with dignity and respect, and is courteous and professional. Demonstrates sound problem solving skills. Resolves conflict in a positive manner .Checks in with property engineers and managers before and after job when needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Jetting Technician with the scope of work at hand to complete jetting jobs.
Provides all necessary tools and equipment to the Jetting Technician.
Assist with all aspects of jetting including but not limited to assisting with the jetting hose.
If a company vehicle is assigned to the Helper, drives to job locations.
Attend Saturday meetings when scheduled.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
Training Ability: Must have the ability to furnish instruction in a clear and concise manner.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills including email, using a smart phone.

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 35 pounds. Rare occasions may need to lift up to 50 pounds. Remove and replace sewer caps and drag/pull industrial hose. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel. Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, walk, climb or balance, and talk or hear.
