Job Title: JDE Developer
Position Type: Full Time
Work Location: Addison, TX 75001 (Hybrid: 2 days remote, 3 days in office (may change))

Position Purpose:

The JDE Developer has experience in both information technology and general business.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with IT team and business team members in order to identify and understand business requirements.
• Design effective, scalable, and maintainable solutions that meet business requirements.
• Participate in defining project proposals, estimates, project plans, and implementation strategies for Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Enhancements (RICE)
• Ensure quality of (RICE) deliverables using development testing methods, code reviews, and user acceptance testing
• Implement security measures in accordance with IT policy and advise on current best practices.
• Responsible for development of technical designs, code & unit testing for E1 platforms.
• Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment, be self -motivated to accomplish tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to communicate development complexities and risks to project management.
• Monitor system performance/logging via JDE Server Manager
• Maintain strong time management skills, keep exemplary record of attendance and punctuality.
• Ensure compliance with Change Management policies and principles.
• Maintain clear history of code through the use of source control tools.
• Support helpdesk team as a point of escalation for more challenging issues
• Mentor other IT department members on technical skills, design practices, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation (i.e., workflow charts, functional configuration, application updates, and performance issues.
• Understand the cyber security threats.
• Understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standards.
• Work collaboratively with consultants, implementation managers and client IT resources to develop, test, implement products and issue resolution.
• Other tasks and projects as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge and use of JD Edwards Standard Development Toolsets (9.1 and 9.2)
• Debugging Tools.
• Expert knowledge of the JDE table structure and dependencies
• Understanding of different operating environments (DV, PY, PD) and associated object promotion rules.
• Familiarity with JDE CNC functions.
• Knowledge of JDE E1 project promotion, package builds, and deployments.
• System upgrade/installation process.
• Experience using BI Publisher
• Comprehensive knowledge of E1 Orchestrations.
• Strong knowledge and familiarity with JDE interoperability processes.
• Ability to configure E1 software to match business requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One using the Development Toolsets.
• 5 years of JD Edwards Enterprise One Developer experience.
• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business, or related field.
• Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills are required.
• Application development experience
• Experience with multiple cloud and on-premises technologies (VMWare, ODBC, FTP, SMTP, HTTPs, etc.)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Highly adaptable; must be able to work in a team environment.
• Able to work flexible and varying schedule including weekends.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally to all level both verbally and written.
• Able to travel up to 20% of the time (20% is not hard coded. For the first year there might not be no travel at all. However, just in case we require time to fly out, they will need to be able too. Tampa is the next location new location. Other locations: Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Phoenix, Denver, Nashville, Jacksonville)
• Maintain current, valid driver's license and state required insurance.
