540 is looking for a JavaScript Engineer to help the DoD build new proof of concept capabilities for a new and exciting Air Force integration platform powered by Apigee and Google Cloud. The JavaScript Engineer will focus on front end / UI development.
Location: Remote within the continental United States. East Coast working hours with some flexibility afforded
Citizenship & Clearance Requirement: per client requirements, must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a clearance
Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related engineering field (preferred)

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 4+ years of web application development experience
- 2+ years of React, Angular or VueJS experience, with at least minimal exposure to Angular
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript
- Experience in agile development processes (especially Scrum)
- Experience building API-centric web applications
- Ability to define, create, and execute unit tests
- Experience using automated UI test tools like Selenium

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Experience working on US Federal Government projects, specifically with the Department of Defense
