Java/Kotlin Software Developer - W2 Candidate (Remote)

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to play a critical role in the development of our Emergency Services Platform. The ideal candidate must be focused on the details and understand how to create mission critical services.  We use a variety of technologies with the majority being Kotlin in a RedHat OpenShift/Kubernetes microservices architecture. 

• Ability to knowledge share, influence, and drive results within a DevOps environment
• Ability to translate standards to software requirements
• Experience with telecommunications, including SIP
• Understanding of 9-1-1 standards
• Experience with RedHat OpenShift and Kubernetes
• 5+ years of Kotlin / Java / JVM languages
• At least one year of recent experience with the following:

         Containerization / Docker / Kubernetes

         MongoDB and/or other NoSQL technologies

         Spring Boot and Microservice development

         RESTful APIs

         JPA, Hibernate or other ORM framework

         ReactJS

         Nice to have experience: Spock, Netty, Java 9+ and IntelliJ

         Some on-call and or after-hours work may be required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

6 months Contract. 100% remote
