Java FSE Solution Architect ( Remote)
Job Summary
Cognizant is looking for a JavaFSE SolutionArchitect with at least 14 + years of experience in developing customized product for our clients. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies. Design, implement and maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency.
An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environment. Someone that values the "team" and leverages the opinions and expertise of their teammates to deliver quality.
Location: St Louis, MO ( Remote)
Work Authorization: You should be legally eligible to work for any employer in the US without the need for a sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 2/20/2024. The annual salary for this position is between $95,500 - $182,600 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.

Responsibilities:
- Work with Cognizant/Centene Leads on Design
- Understand existing applications and enhance.
- Comply to industry best practices and internal standards.
- Work with Onshore/Offshore teams
- Champion best practices and standards for building, delivering, and operating reliable services.
- Responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure architecture solutions.
- Need to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure the successful delivery of projects. Additionally, need to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Leverage expertise in a technology area (e.g. Java/JEE 5+ Microsoft technologies or Mainframe/legacy) to design system architecture guide and review technical delivery by internal teams resolve architecture issues and deliver / own architecture of application solutions spanning across multiple technologies for projects of the following nature high revenue projects / complex projects / large strategic maintenance project WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF delivering technically sound projects across one / multiple customers WITHIN the guidelines of the customer and Cognizant standards and norms.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience 14 to18yrs
- Technical Skills- Java, Angular 13
- In collaboration with the Sr. Architect analyze application/ technology
- Publish and maintain a repository of solutions best practices and standards and other knowledge articles Conduct and facilitate knowledge sharing and learning sessions across the team
- Gain industry standard certifications on technology and architecture consulting Support Technical skill building (including hiring and training) for the team based on inputs from project manager.
- Mentor new members in the team in technical areas
- Offshore/ Onshore Model exposure
- Agile Work model
