We are looking for a senior creative, seasoned, full-stack web engineer to enhance and manage our existing applications using the latest standards, methodologies and frameworks. Successful candidates will have a minimum of eight years’ experience with the required skills listed below:
Required Skills:
- 7 years of overall IT experience
- At least three years’ experience with:
- Angular and/or React
- Solid Java programming language experience
- Writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Being up on latest practices is a must, e.g., HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 6 (minimum)
- Experience with Spring framework, Spring Boot and Spring MVC
- Familiarity with a relevant and globally supported framework—both front-end and back-end, if necessary (e.g., React )
- Thorough understanding of user experience and possibly even product strategy
- Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
- Fundamental knowledge of IT Service Management/ITIL processes and tools
- Proficiency with Git
- Lead junior developers (associates) and contractors on design, development and code reviews
- Experience working in a feature lead capacity
- REST API connectivity programming concepts
- Solid experience working in an Agile environment and participating and contributing to Scrum and/or Kanban routines
Desired Skills:
- Appreciation for clean and well documented code
- Experience with mobile responsive designs
- Experience with Material, Bootstrap or Telerik Components
- Experience transitioning applications from legacy UI technologies (AngularJS) to modern web frameworks (React or Angular)
- Experience transitioning application back end from a monolithic framework
- Good understanding of Oracle database and query tuning in Oracle
