BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Java Developer in Jersey City, NJ / Plano, TX / Chicago, IL!Position Title: Java DeveloperLocation: Jersey City, NJ / Plano, TX / Chicago, ILAnticipated Start Date: [ASAP] Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. Expected Duration: [12 Months] Job Type: [FULL TIME (Contract), [Hybrid] Pay Range: [$60-65/hr] Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Job Description:

• Responsible for hands on development, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Financial Crimes environment.
• Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs/activities. Work closely with business partners in defining requirements and ensuring acceptance criteria is met for application changes.
• In-depth knowledge of development tools and languages is a must. Individual contributor role.
• Ability to partner with the multiple Technology teams to implement the target architecture and migration to strategic platform
• 8 - 10 years of full stack experience in Java end to end application development.
• 4+ years of Angular experience
• Strong core java skills including multi-threading, collections API, JDBC and knowledge of Java profiling tools
• Knowledge of performance tuning data intensive applications
• Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills
• Creative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative tech based solutions
• Exceptional intelligence and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Software development using agile methodology and processes
• Degree from outstanding university
• Background in enterprise stress testing
• Knowledge and/or experience working within the Elastic, Hadoop, Teradata or other big data distributed ecosystem
• Knowledge of cloud computing or distributed computing
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline
