Java and Angular Developer
Cognizant Digital Engineering practice is looking to hire a motivated and energetic Angular Developer.
Cognizant Digital Practice helps clients reinvent products, experiences, and business models to create new value, differentiation, and drive revenue in the digital economy.We take an Experience centered approachwhich uses human insights to take ideas from vision to outcome and building end to end experience led solutions that enables brands to transform their customer and employee experiences using design, marketing, and commerce capabilities.
Location: Columbus, OH (Remote or hybrid is allowed)
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
• Application Design and development in FSD (Java 8+, Spring Boot 2+, Angular 2+)
• Working closely with customer IT team for design decision making and KT calls
• Working closely with offshore team for handshakes both ways
• Collaboration with other teams in the portfolio for integration points / APIs
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, daily stand-up calls, retrospection, and all other agile ceremonies.
• Testing support, code promotion and UAT support
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle.
• Proven ability to tackle complex business and development problems.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Design decisions and helping Team to adhere to it - reviews to be done to ensure adherence.
• Roles & Responsibilities Helping team troubleshoot day-to-day integration issues with other applications.
• Participate on behalf of Cognizant team in scrum of scrum meetings and resolve dependencies.
• Formulate code check-in policies in enterprise GIT. Recommend appropriate Tools / accelerators for the team.
Key Qualifications:
• Must have 6+ years' development experience and deep understanding in Java 8+ and Angular 2+
• Must have 2+ years' development experience with Spring Boot 2+
• Knowledgeable in front-end web development technologies and techniques
• Full Stack Development experience is a plus.
• Technology depth and experience with designing, building, and supporting APIs.
• DevOps & Cloud- Apigee, AWS (Rancher/ Kubernetes), GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Harness, CI/CD Pipeline, is a plus
