[Japanese] Inside Sales Representative

General Position Summary: The Inside Sales Representative is a vital role, focusing on communicating with vendors to procure specific products, primarily for machine maintenance and factory supplies. This role requires understanding and meeting the precise needs of customers.

Essential Job Functions:

Customer Service:

• Respond to customer inquiries via telephone and email.
• Establish and nurture long-lasting relationships with key contacts in customer accounts.
• Manage and update all relevant documents, including RFQ spreadsheets, drawings, specifications, etc.
• Process vendor information and communicate product specifications with customers as necessary.
• Oversee the creation of quotes and purchase orders, ensuring timely communication with vendors in Japan and the US.
• Maintain an up-to-date backorder list and conduct regular physical inventory checks.
• Coordinate shipments and prepare invoices for customers.

Operational and Administrative Tasks:

• Continuously enhance product knowledge and market understanding.
• Strive for efficiency and cost-effectiveness in work processes.
• Undertake special projects and miscellaneous duties as directed by the Assistant Sales Manager or President.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain high ethical standards, and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Report any unusual issues and contribute to problem-solving efforts.

Qualifications:

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED.

Experience:

• Minimum of one years in data entry or Inside Sales.
• Intermediate level of Japanese.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Office-based work environment.
• Familiarity with office equipment and proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
• Moderate noise levels typical of an office setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
