Janitorial/Maintenance Tech - Amped Kitchens (Chicago & L.A.)

The Role
Amped Kitchens is seeking a Janitorial/Maintenance Tech for Chicago. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to independently handle a variety of maintenance tasks. We are looking for a team player who is committed to maintaining our facilities to the highest standards of safety and cleanliness. Your work is vital to helping our customers – mostly small and up-and-coming businesses – succeed.
Specific Accountabilities:
Maintain clean, sanitary and safe conditions throughout the building.
Perform regular maintenance and repairs of equipment and facilities.
Respond promptly to service requests and emergency call-outs.
Operate and maintain equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts, with training as needed.
Demonstrate strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure a seamless operation.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience in janitorial or maintenance work preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle physical demands of the job.
Certifications: Food Safety and Forklift certifications are a plus. We offer training if needed.
Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Compensation
$17 to $20 Hourly Based on Experience_____
Benefits including medical and dental insurance after 60 days.
