Critical Facilities Solutions is a cleaning service company with extensive knowledge focused on critical environment cleaning, janitorial, custodial services and more.

We are looking for an individual with a janitorial or custodian background for a customer site in Plano, TX 75075. This part-time position will be responsible for the cleanliness of the customers site including office areas, restrooms, public areas and more. The ideal candidate will have a set daily/weekly/monthly routine with specific repeatable services to be performed on a schedule, but able to adapt to an ever-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete disinfectant cleaning entrances, offices, public areas, and other general area surfaces.
• Sweep and mop floors, vacuum carpets.
• Clean hallway, office, and general area walls
• Shampoo carpets as needed.
• Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers.
• Restock disposables (e.g., soap, paper towels, etc.) (If applicable)
• Wipe mirrors and windows
• Restocking custodial, kitchen, and shipping supplies (if applicable)
• Maintain outer premises by cleaning entrances.
• Operating, servicing, and cleaning machine equipment
• Complete high-level dusting
• Use a floor scrubber to scrub floors.
• Cleaning trash receptacles
• Taking out all trash
• Cleaning all floors and general surfaces. (If applicable)

Skills

• Ability to communicate in English.
• Ability to correspond via email and phone.
• Ability to safely climb 6’ ladders at times.
• Proven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role
• Knowledge of use of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
• Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components
• Attention to detail and conscientiousness.
• High school diploma is preferred but not required.
• Physical Demands consist of standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting, working in cramped areas, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, grasping, lifting to 50 lbs., carrying up to 40 lbs., and stooping.
• Must be able to perform repetitive motion for extensive amount of time.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work independently.

Work Schedule

The part-time schedule for this position is:

Monday through Friday 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Occasional Saturday's if needed)

Cleaning Scope of Work:

OFFICE AREAS

A. Services performed daily (5x a week). a. Empty all waste receptacles; remove wastepaper and trash from the premises; replace trash can liners as needed. b. Vacuum all carpeted areas. c. Dust exposed surfaces of work room and conference tables. d. Sweep or dry mop hard surface floors. e. Damp mop floors with disinfectant cleaner.

B. Services performed weekly. a. Dust all office furniture, files, paneling, and window ledges.

C. Services performed monthly. a. Detail vacuum edges, corners and under furniture. b. Dust air vents, ledges, mini-blinds, and high areas. c. Wipe clean all vertical furniture surfaces. d. Dust Baseboards.

RESTROOMS
A. Services performed daily (5x a week). a. Empty and sanitize all receptacles and sanitary disposals; replace trash liners. b. Clean all mirrors, bright work and enameled surfaces. c. Wash and disinfect all basins, urinals and bows using non-abrasive cleaners. d. Clean spots, stains and fingerprints from metal partitions, walls and outside surfaces of all dispensers and soap dishes. e. Damp mop and sanitize all hard surface floors with disinfectant cleaner. f. Restock restrooms with all necessary supplies.

B. Services performed weekly. a. Thoroughly wash all partitions, tile walls, dispensers, and receptacles. b. Wash all baseboards.

C. Services performed monthly. a. Vacuum all louvers, ventilating grills, and dust light fixtures. b. Scrub hard surface floors

PUBLIC AREAS

A. Services performed Daily (5x a week). a. Clean all drinking fountains. b. Vacuum all carpeted areas. c. Spot clean all hard surface floors. d. Spot clean all entrance doors and sidelights. e. Dust mop all band surface floors with a treated dust mop. f. Sweep and or vacuum entrance mate. g. Clean breakroom floor, sink, counters h. Spot clean corridors

B. Services as needed. a. Reasonable spot cleaning of spots on carpeted areas.

C. Services performed monthly. a. Dust and clean all vertical surfaces such as walls, partitions, doors, doorjambs, and other surfaces above shoulder height. b. Damp dust all ceiling air conditioning diffusers, wall grids, registers, and other ventilating louvers. c. Dust exposed ceiling ventilation system to remove cobwebs and visible dust build up. d. Wipe clean refrigerator.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
