Janitorial Supervisor-Coolsprings Galleria

Allied Universal Janitorial Services is currently seeking a Janitorial Supervisor at West Town Mall in Knoxville TN. The successful candidate will ensure that the mall is exceptionally clean and free of any debris--adding to the positive shopping experience of mall patrons and customers!
Responsibilities:
• Post great leadership skills.
• Must have previous custodial/janitorial supervisory experience.
• Be able to plan, schedule, assign, and evaluate work of janitorial staff.
• Must be able to train current and new staff members.
• Must be able to work with a diverse staff.
• Perform heavy cleaning duties at our client’s facility including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, and restroom cleaning.
• Clean all glass (windows, mirrors, tables, etc.).
• Gather and empty trash receptacles.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms, food court dining areas, and other public areas of the facility.
• Perform and document routine inspection and/or maintenance activities.
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
• Stock and maintain supplies and inventory.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Must be dependable.
• Assist mall patrons or customers in a friendly and engaging manner when requested.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by Management.

The job qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Integrity and ability to work independently.
• Must have obtain a high school diploma or GED or higher education.
• Ability to handle cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to bend, lift, and move continually during working hours.
• Ability to lift items and/or machinery of up to 25 pounds.
• Willingness to participate in the company’s screening process.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Must be dependable.
• Ensure daily schedules and objectives are met by all staff members.
